Makeup for the beach?

Ohkay so I'm going to the beach tomorrow %26amp; ehh I don't want to look all nasty.(without makeup I look like a guy.): ha)


Soo how can I keep my makeup on, and keep my eyelashes looking nice, and still being able to go in the water?:P

Makeup for the beach is always a little tricky, especially when it involves swimming. But I guess the rule that would apply here is less is more. The more gunk you put on your face, the more likely it is to smear off and make you look like a loch monster.





Use a tinted moisturiser on your face (it would help if it had an SPF) before dusting on some bronzer on your face. Use a waterproof eyeliner (I'm currently loving Maybelline's Volum' Express Hypercurl), a touch of tinted lip balm (Nivea's Lip Care in Cherry Kiss) and for a little extra, a touch of waterproof eyeliner on your upper lashes. Rimmel works wonderfully for this. Don't be tempted to put any on your lower lashes because it will move and make you look like a nut.

Waterproof everything like wear waterproof makeup they have sprays that you can spray all over your body so you can have an airbrushed look but yeah get waterproof mascara
Water-proof mascara and eyeliner...i don't know if you can get water-proof eyeshadow.

im doing a photo shoot in the morning at a beach for a girl who is African American but looked kinda light skinned





im kinda nervous because , well , its my second photo shoot but i never did makeup on a location where theres no table and appropriate lighting





anyway i know i have foundation in small compact pallets but im worried about what i can do to be more prepared in terms of maybe not being able to have a table there and theres also the sun and sweating and keeping the skin looking good and everything

i would just use some loose powder to finish her face and even her skin tone if needed. but its a beach, it should look natural right. and as for not having the appropriate lighting, your outdoors, that is your lighting you dont need a 60W bulb to shine on her.

I am going on vacation at the end of september. If i can't figure out how to style my long hair by the time i go, i'm chopping it off, and that may make me sad because i don't want to give up on it. but i cannot style my long hair. it's so hard to manage, easily tangled, very thin and fine (it's like claire danes hair to a T!';). so i really need to know, because i'll be swimming in the ocean and going straight to doing activities, what are good hair styles i can do while my hair is wet? and what is some good waterproof eyeliner (AND CONCEALER) that will work for me. and waterproof mascara. and my face does breakout easily, so i need a very good concealer that will not cause breakouts!Good hair and makeup ideas for vacation on the beach!?

hair= wavy side ponytail, half up half down, anything loose and wavy or soft curls.

Of course, lashes wouldn't be that long, unless you used fake ones, and the eyeshadow on the lid wouldn't need to be that dark, but I like the idea of blue, or even green, liner :P





Other than that, all you need is a light blush, and light foundation!

Ummm mascara, foundation, bronzer, clear lipgloss, and eyeliner on the top, and if you have to have eyeshadow, wear nude shades, like beige and stuff.

For a concealer, i would get a cream based one such as Max Factors pan stik. It used to be the foundation makeup artists used for celebrities like Marilyn Monroe and such in the 1950's and 1960's. Its also a foundation, you get such good coverage from it too, it could honestly cover tattoos if you needed it to. You can also buy it at Wal Mart for about $7. Just dust mineral foundation on top, cream blush, waterproof mascara and your good to go.Makeup for the beach?
I have a waterproof eyeliner from Styli-Style and it's only a few bucks at CVS. Also, some clear mascara is good, i use the Covergirl kind.If you have light eyelashes and want to use dark mascara, then the Define-A-Lash waterproof mascara by Maybelline is good and only a few dollars at CVS. Last, chapstick. I love chapstick moisturizer that comes in the blue squeezable tube.

I don't own any waterproof concealer so i just googled it haha. But Lancome is a very good brand so it should work. I hope I helped!
About a week ago i went to a pool party... i was so scared my make was going to melt off!! but it stayed PERFECTLY!


I have a few suggestions and trust me i have THE WORST dark circles ever!


Bare naturale concealer powder, even tho its powder it still stays on!


and cover girl liquid concealer is good too!! same with almays waterproof, i suggest almays waterproof liquid other than CGs.


the best mascara that didn't smudge at all was lash exact waterproof its the one in the purple tube! but not TOO much!
I'm also looking for waterproof mascara. I read somewhere that boots no 7 extreme waterproof mascara had 15 good reviews.
